Rumorville: Justice League Spin-Off?

There are rumors floating around the Internets that a Justice League spin-off is in the works. Smallville producer Al Gough denies this though. But we've never taken such denials to heart. We know those in the biz like to keep such things under wraps for as long as possible.
Would you like to see one? Who would you cast as the Flash, Cyborg, Green Arrow, Aquaman? We dig the Justin Hartley and would LOVE to see him come back to The CW - as long as he doesn't take Lois with him!

hey im new i just read ur comments and thought id add my own,i hope lana dies i cant stand her and i want clark to get wiv chloe not lois they brought her in too fast does any one know if there is going to be a justice league spin off that would be soo cool
Posted by: superguy | October 1, 2007 12:56 PM
have let one here before since march my attitude has changed with respect to changing smallville
you could do a 7th year but have justice league on it more was hoping that they would end smallville last night with clark finding his way back to the fortress
at that point use that smallville justice vs doom comic to tie up loose ends until the next season of smallville this fall
what could be done is move the story up ten years since they have done last nights show the way they did they cant do that
after last nights episode we all got a little something
lana is good and dead now not a way to bring her back like in season 5 show reckoning
chloe did not fit into the superman story she was created for the smallville theme she took off in fans minds and hearts but she is apparently gone
lionel and martha should be gone lionel has showed us enough of where lex got his evil side lex should not take a back seat anymore to him
martha could be used from the point of view like general lane allies in washington of the league
but they will have to show the last phantom which now has become cloned of clark turning into bizarro
show martian manhunter healing himself or whatever after he got hurt
if i had it my way season 7 would be two different themed sections
first before christmas this year would make it during this time let clark deal with the dam and all his losses
let him meet up with the league and bring manhunter in he knowing clarks secret can fill in the others while he goes to train
in 08 we need to skip ahead 10 years bring back lex and the league
i thought clark and the others could always use jimmy lois and all the others who are part of their lives on the show
at some point bring in the rest of the justice league and then have legion of doom
it is hard to go against the superman history and allow clark to become superman over night without gaining the knowledge of the universe
if he had done that in season 6 he would have been prepared for all the phantom zone and zod crap
i want him to be superman but it is hard to think that he could be at that age right now with all of the league
i wished they could come back in their 30's and all be on their
if they only knew that things will happen like we do i mean they dont know of the others yet nor can they imagine that the war they speak of will be centered on them and the legion of doom
something to think about

Posted by: lexana hater#1 | March 30, 2007 4:37 PM
Clana? Lexanahater? Cloishater! Super Girl is here. Hey, lexanahater, you might need some explaining of the one hundreth episode!
Well,in one episode Clark is mortal, the he gets shot and dies, but Jorel, that is his alein father brings him back to life.
So Clark is now alive and he tells Lana his secret and asks her to marry him. Lana says yes! but this does not last for long because Lex say to Lana Clark must have told you his secret,Lana tell me.Lana refuses to tell Lex so lex follows her in his car and Lana is not watching the road and has a head on collision with a bus.
Clark is devestated after this and goes to Jorel. jorel tells him the only reason Lana died is because she was a sacrifice for Clark. Clark tells Jorel to bring her back, yet he does not know he will sacrifice his adoptive father,Jonathon kent.
Thats what happened and How Jonathon died, thought you should know!

but that doesn't mean that she has to have super powers, does it. i thought that the metors just affected people in random ways...Lex (does he qualify for affected) just lost his hair

Lexanahater Clois Hater ya there?
Posted by: Clana#1 | March 30, 2007 4:14 PM
is any1 here?
ok, so i havent seen ALL the epsidoes. thanks explaining. & yes, i did know that clark wasn't a metor freak
Posted by: lexana hater#1 | March 30, 2007 3:44 PM
Hey Lexana hater, take it you don't watch much Smallville? Well, in one episode there is this guy who is blind, but the only thing he can see is people who have been effected by the meteor showe. So Clark thinks he will be able to see him, so Clark tells him not to tell anyone. But the blind man does not know clark is referring to himself and say,"I won't tell a word about Chloe!"
So now we Know Chloe will develop super powers.
Also in that episode Lana has a hunch that Clark has super powers, but she thinks he is a meteor freak, but he is not, he is a kryptonian. Lana then tells the blind man don't tell ANYONE about Clark! The blind man is confused and says Clark is as normal as ever so this throws Lana off track a little.
Oops kinda got off subject but that is how we know Chloe is going to have superpowers!

i think that lana will defintly find out everything about clark. some1 will tell her if not clark himself. as for changing the plot...idk, i wish that clark and lana could stay together, but changing the plot would defintly ruin what the show has going
Posted by: lexana hater#1 | March 29, 2007 4:59 PM
I will keep my eyes peeled for Cloishater#1 and Lexannahater#1. Hey do you think Lana will totally find out about Clark's origin? Right now she only knows about his powers. I hope she finds a way out of that horrible Luther family tree and joins the Kent's. Altough we all know there will be an anoying future Mrs. Lois Kent. Maybe the writers will cange the story line and have Lana and Clark be together.

what we smallville fans need to do is start a petition drive to end the current series and start justice league series
smallville cant go on past the phantom zone story arc. let clark go and see jor-el then the fun begins
i already have the way you start the new series and everything would anybody on this site like to hear about it read that post get back to me
we need to hurry 7 shows left this season. they say michael rosenbaum is leaving after next year
start the justice series and trick them into thinking at first he will be working on that in the contract but i would like the see him play the evil side of him now
i mean i would get sick if they would not let me play the true self he is supposed to be tom welling i guess feels the same way superman needsto be there now you know?
anybody here agree?
Posted by: derek | March 14, 2007 10:16 PM
they need to do a series about the league call it simply justice and use the same actors like on smallville
tom welling in currently 29 and passes for a 20 year old make them all look a little older this is a show dealing with make up and effects is it not?
all they got to do, is end smallville this season before they screw that up.
have phantom zoners all die then have clark do as he told martha kent go see jor-el take the training
the series finale needs to be that, then the next episode is the justice start up episode
have it start 12 years later so that superman be finished.
during this time have lex use the 33.1 members to start becoming a crime lord. have the cyborg project from season 5 start back up
if nothing else let him catch a zoner. this ties in with the brainiac and zod line
he needs like on the cartoons to know more is going on then meets the eye as they say. was nothing on there to openly talk about them being from other planets smallville everything is still not out there yet
not saying they know each others identity but come on like john needs to come clean and show himself to the other members of the group.
he could i guess track them down. But the whole thing with 33.1 they caught that mikhail from the 5th dimension took him there he was a legion of doom member and where the hell is milton fine this season?
did the black box that got destroyed in fallout show was that they end of him i hope not. although they dont need a member limit that does leave a blank spot for someone else
i even have ideas for batman is possible for him to be on a justice show
they are licensed right now as solo people in these films. the justice league should get by with using them you know
Posted by: derek | March 9, 2007 12:27 AM
Chloe was revealed to be "meteor infected," and, as she says to Clark, "Meteor infected people are sometime latent for years before their powers appear." I always wondered how Chloe fit into the story - she's obviously a better reporter than Lois, although Lois must eventually take the "best reporter in Metropolis" position. Well - there it is! Justice League needs their female member! Chloe to the rescue!

This is my first post so take it easy on me. I've been reading the posts but I don't think you guys realize that once Clark becomes Superman the show "Smallville" is over. That's it. He will become Superman in the final episode I'm betting. What ever CW does I'm praying that they don't give Clark the gay looking blue tights with the red man panties. Flash has a cooler suit they’ve got to do something for Superman but I can't figure out what.
I'm all for a J.L. series just as long as CW doesn't screw it up.
Posted by: Chris | January 25, 2007 8:08 PM
Jeez, if you haven't seen the "Justice" episode then you really missed out, it was unbelievable!!! All I can say is that if CW had any sense they would move things along very quick and get the Justice league made into a series as the ratings would be through the roof, keeping the current actor/character set as they fit the parts really well. Come on CW! You know it makes sense!

Smallville needs to stop micking around with the Melrose drama and Voltron-esque episodes with the Meteor Freaks, and get to the training of Superman. I’m not even talking about tights and flights, I’m talking about Jor El actually teaching him the ways to become the eventual Superman. This was never even covered in the original movie with Christopher Reeves. Instead, Clark Kent disappears for 15 years, and comes back as Superman. This is unexplored territory from a TV/Movie perspective.
It’s fair game. THERE’S YOUR NEW DIRECTION!
This is where Smallville needs to go. Clark needs to begin his trials/training. It’s time to get this show on the road. 7 Seasons of boy scout attitudes and repetitive story techniques is enough!
The greatest let down this show has managed so far was in the following line by Clark, “It’s time for me to stop running from my destiny and embrace who I really am.” (paraphrasing mind you) and then added the bit about “Once I take care of all the escaped Zoners.”
I wanted to spit on the creators of the show for that last added bit.
Make a justice league spin-off if you want. I’ll check it out, and if it’s done well, I’ll probably watch it too. But bottom line is: it’s time to take Clark up a notch and think outside the box on the show. If the creators choose to keep Clark as is, and keep rehashing the same junk over and over, I’ll gladly take a new Justice League show with something different – even if there is no Clark Kent in it.

look u ppl just dont get it smallville was neva ment to be about who clark was with i think he should ditch lana ditch chloe and as much as i love her ditch lois because unless he becomes superman he doesnt deserve any of them.
the way the relationdhips are rite now suits me fine i mean lois with oliver/green arrow gosh such a good match. chloe with jimmy so cute even though it may be a bit degrating for clark u know with the whole sidekick thing i dont care. and lex and lana as much as i hate both characters they do suit and last but not least clark alone lol. i dont think clark should get with any1 but maybe discover feelings for lois that he didnt know about be4.
and if they do get lois and clark together in smallville please have lois's dad in it some where. i could just imagine sam lane saying to clark if u hurt my daughter i will snap u in half even though he is the man of steel lol

Uh, Chloeers, um, I mean yeah, we know you guys have to bash Lois in order to keep Chloe alive in the show etc, but uh, let's drop it for some time, I mean it's Christmas let's be peaceful for a while hmm?
I mean, you do know that you hate Lois 'cause yeah Chlark would remain unfullfilled because of Miss Lane and all and then now she'll be heading for Daily Planet soon so I mean what would be left for Chloe to do? You guys have the right to be angry but hey, it is Christmas let's drop it for a short while only hmm..
Please, let's not bash Lois this week, bashing her isn't ending our miseries anyway...
Posted by: Winchestergirl | December 21, 2006 10:02 PM
Yeah, I have to agree that Smallville is on it's way to ruining Superman. We might actually be returning to the Clana snore-fest of secrets and lies in the second half. God help us all should Superman regress to a mindless dweeb unable to find the Balls of Steel to actually be a hero and break free of the parasite that is Lana Lang. Mind you, Temp Lois is equally pathetic. An uneducated boob pretending to be a journalist. Ah, but you see, it's her natural talent for journalism. And muffin-peddling. And being a Chief of Staff. And getting kicked out of university without bothering to find out that she didn't even graduate high school. Woah. Such is the Iconic Woman of this new day and age.
And poor Lex Luthor. He's now reduced to being a whiny brat to Clark because he got the girl? A decades-old story reduced to a petty school-yard brawl over an empty-headed twerp of a girl? This is a hero and his greatest nemsis? Jesus. Somebody save me.
Oh no, wait. That's why I watch Heroes.
Posted by: No to the League show! | December 20, 2006 7:59 PM
"Smallville has already ruined Superman and Lois Lane for me."
Are you sure we are watching the same show? 'cause I love Smallville's version of Superman as well as Lois Lane and they've done excellent job with Green Arrow and Jimmy Olsen this season too.
Posted by: J_Ferry | December 19, 2006 10:06 PM
It is interesting to note that out of the 120 episodes of Smallville that have aired so far, Erica Durance has starred in only 32. Yet, Clark and Lois is the most wanted couple on the show and Erica is the most loved version of Lois Lane. Smallville's ratings improve whenever Erica stars in an episode. The producers should understand that Lois and Clark are two names associated with each other for decades and it is a story that always has the potential of delivering therefore Clark and Lois should be brought together and Erica should appear in all episodes of Smallville.
Fans' Verdict: Team up Lois and Clark....
Posted by: Emanuelle | December 19, 2006 10:02 PM
Justice would be an exciting episode. Can't wait to see super heroes coming together. The spoilers for Hydro, Justice, Labyrinth and Crimson are very cool, they've got everyone excited. Can't wait to see where this goes.
As for 'hooking up' I guess, Clark and Lois is the logical answer, they are the comic book duo and Tom and Erica will rock as a couple. Yeah! Bring Clark and Lois together, future is now!!!
Posted by: Sb | December 19, 2006 9:56 PM
Neither Lana nor "Lois" deserves that special place.
***
Sorry, Lois's special place is reserved in Clark's life for 70 years and will always be, you can dream for Chloe to take that place but it will always be a dream and no, calling Lois 'pathetic' won't help.
Posted by: Rogue | December 18, 2006 10:37 PM
Justice episode sounds cool, but I guess that is it. After that, we'll love the focus back on Clark Kent, Lex Luthor and Lois Lane and give Chloe something to do other than being a constant google. Chimmy is a good change, keep it up!
Please team up Clark and Lois! They are the reasons why I watch this show. I want them to become the number one team like LnC!
Posted by: Reese | December 18, 2006 9:57 PM
Clark and Chloe hooking up and Clark kicking butt with her at his side. She deserves to be there; they are two halves of a whole. Neither Lana nor "Lois" deserves that special place. Lana is still a self-centered little girl who wants money and power and to be worshiped as she has always been and "Lois" is just pathetic. If there is a spin-off, let GA take the obnoxious and pathetic "Lois" with him then I won't have to watch her ruin every ep of Smallville she's in.
Posted by: Margroks | December 18, 2006 8:13 AM
God no! Smallville has already ruined Superman and Lois Lane for me. As a huge JL/JLU fan I would be heart-broken if they destroyed another of my favorite cartoon/comic book franchises. Just No!
Posted by: JustMe | December 17, 2006 2:55 PM
JLA is ok, but I'd rather see Clark kicking some major butt and taking the glory, with Lana backing him up and kicking some major butt as well. Go CLANA!
Give us an evil Lionel again, and an even more evil and crafty Lex. Then toss in few other despicable enemies at Clark to keep him and Lana busy. Go CLANA!
Posted by: Jeff | December 15, 2006 3:33 PM
I dont see a spin off happening. And no way will any of the iconic, main players from Smallville ever feature, like Clark, Lex, Lois and Lana, even Jimmy because I reckon tptb wannt to finish telling their part of the story in 'Smallville' only. I can totally see the last few scenes of 'Smallville', it's series finale to focus on Clark and his journey but at the same time also give us a glimpse of Lex, Lois, Lana and Jimmy's status. So ya, I dont see any of these characters featuring in any spin off.
The only characters left are Martha and Chloe. I doubt Martha, but Chloe for sure could make an interesting addition to the League. She'd have a lot to offer. Perhaps in the capacity of a oracle type characterization? Or as love interest even with one of the heroes. Bart did after all briefly flirt with her in season 4, which was very cute. :)
Bottom line though, I cant see a spin off happening. Logistics, and this and that.
Posted by: Ginsu | December 15, 2006 7:02 AM
JLA spin off sounds good only if AlMiles are not part of it because they will not produce a superhero story they will produce a story which will focus on triangles.
Posted by: Anonymous | December 14, 2006 10:51 PM
Hilary Duff?? HHAA HAAA...that's funny..haven't heard that name in a bit...as for the poll...regardless of who is winning...the poll is just blah. When 3 out of 5 options are about hook-ups, then we know we have a problem.
Houston, the problem is definitely here.
But on a side note, I was just watching Wither again tonight (because I can't get enough of Tom, I will even watch reruns)...and was reminded of the beautiful chemistry that Erica and Justin have. Now, I'm not pushing for her to leave Smallville or anything like that...but I like how they just...FIT together.
Like someone else said he was a fan of chemistry..so am I...and whoever cast those two together did a fantastic job. I don't care if Erica is named Lois, Black Canary, Denise or Alexandria...she and Justin are HOT together.
I will be really sad to see him go..he was good for her.

Thats such a useless poll to be honest.. if you clear your cookies you can vote again... using a MACRO BROWSER such as the iOpus Internet Macros browser you can record your events to visit the site, then vote for an option then Clear the cookies and then vote again and after that macro has been recorded all you do is Set it to loop 1000 times... the poll should be by IP address.. its much accurate that way.
So it could infact be a handful of Chlark fans cheating on here..
lol i've done cheating like this for Hilary Duff back in her Heydays :)
Posted by: ROCKAMANIAC | December 14, 2006 3:13 PM
Nah, not for me, especially if the Goughlar are involved. Its been made pretty clear that they don't have a ton of respect for the source material they are working with, and I imagine that would be even more evident with a JLA show. Just imagine the LAME love triangles with more then one hero *rolls eyes* Another producer and creative team? Maybe.
But for me, Clark Kent and Tom Welling are the reason for the season. Thats what got me watching Smallville, thats what keeps me watching Smallville through disappointing seasons and head shaking plots (power stones? caves of contrivanace? schizo Jor-El? pregnant Lana?), and I think I'll be off the Goughlar/CW/hero train once he is.
Posted by: Valerie | December 14, 2006 11:00 AM
What's next on Smallville you ask? HA! Forget the poll!
I want Lionel to rear his ugly head again..enough of good Lionel...bring the bad a$$ back!
Next, I want a return of Jor-El....actually, I want ALOT more of him...but I doubt that will happen....he'll make a guest appearance I'm sure.
Then...I want a real evil, nasty Kryptonian villain. How many more are there to go??? I'm sure the last one Clark *battles* will be the worst...but there BETTER be a battle ths time!
As for who is leaving? No One....and apparently, according to Al in an interview, Mr Hartley might actually return as GA again in future seasons/episodes.....hmmmmm....interesting....is this before or after his spin-off?? :)
Posted by: Anonymous | December 14, 2006 10:51 AM
I'm a fan of the chemistry. So Hartley and Durance should definately be spun off together because together they are just smoking.
Likewise, Smallville hit just the right tone with the ensamble of Welling, Kruek, Rosenbaum, and Mack. We definately need to see these four interact more often and in more interesting pairs too. A group scene like days past would be wonderful.
Posted by: ryncar | December 14, 2006 3:33 AM
There is a lot of people attemtping to talk for others here. It's a pitty some fanbases feel the need to make judgement calls on other peoples opinions.
As for me?
Go back to the main character of Smallville - Clark, Lex, Lana, and Chloe. The show started off being about them, and it should end still being about them.
Everyone else, yes including Erica Durance, is expendable in this version of the story.
Posted by: Dan | December 14, 2006 3:31 AM
Erica as Black Canary? NEEDS to happen! Woman can rock the fishnets like no other.
Posted by: Mike | December 14, 2006 3:29 AM
I like Erica just fine.
I think she's the worst Lois Lane ever, but I like Erica just fine.
And if she's going to be on a show she should be on one where she actually has chemistry with the lead.
Hence, Erica would be an AWESOME Black Canary to Hartley's Green Arrow.
But thanks for trying to malaprop my opinion.
Posted by: Maria | December 14, 2006 3:28 AM
Well seriously, I think that as long as Smallville is in production, there is no possibility of a Justice League spinoff. After SV is over, then maybe but as long as SV is running it is impossible. Besides, the writers need to focus on SV, they need to develop the iconic characters of Superman comic first, i.e., Clark, Lois, and Lex and show them reaching towards their roles in the comics.
Posted by: Winchestergirl | December 14, 2006 3:18 AM
Actually Lois Lane IS Black Canary because Clark Kent is the Green Arrow in "Hydro" What a coincidence!
Or is it destiny? hmm..

"And since i don't like Erica's Lois Lane..i would love for her to be in the JL series.."

You don't like Erica Durance but you'd love her to be on the show!
*scratches head*
Posted by: Winchestergirl | December 14, 2006 12:31 AM
A possible JL spin off would be great.
As long as the current Smallville writers and such are nowhere near it.
They've already shown their lack of creativity, ability to ignore their own continuity, and the wonders of no character development.
Hey, let's watch them ruin more iconic characters for the sake of moronic therories, so called "plots", and the hope that viewers are morons who can't tell the difference between good writing and bad.
In other words.. just.. No. Please. Fix the problems with Smallville before its run is over and then maybe the writers can at least be allowed to watch a JL spin off.
Posted by: Peppermint Haze | December 14, 2006 12:26 AM
I will only watch a JLA spinoff if Shelby is Clark, Pete is Lois and Oliver is Lex!

I'd love a JL series. Bart is my favorite..and if he's there i'm there. And since i don't like Erica's Lois Lane..i would love for her to be in the JL series..the Black Canary suff seems cool. She has great chemistry with Justin just like the Justice League GA and BC had.

Ooohh.. nothing more fun than desperate Chloe fans wanting Lois out so that Chloe can get some attention, poor little Chloe is so overshadowed and ignored eversince cousin Lois walked into Smallville..
Clark Kent is been falling for Lois for the past seven decades and Smallville is no different.. no matter how hot Oliver is, Clark is not letting him take away our Lois Lane.. can't wait for Hydro and Crimson.. can't wait for Clois! YES!
As for JLA spin off, I don't think that it would happen as long as Smallville is in production. After Smallville, may be, but yeah, superheroes is always fun, I would love a Justice League spinoff...

Al is all about denial. I'm convinced of that, so who knows what to expect. Personally, I don't have enough faith in a JL spin off. I don't think it would go over too well.
Concerning the poll, I'm for Chlark alllll the way. After a five year long wait, I'm more than ready to see them become more than just friends.

Ya, all this talk of Chloe and Chloeis really, really bugs
Why? If you don't believe, then ignore it. Similarly, if you don't think Clark will miraculously fall in love with Lois on this series, then ignore all the talk about that too. And if you don't think Clark will get back with Lana, then ignore those fans as well. Otherwise you're just going to make yourself miserable. The fact is, Chlois fans will continue to support Chlois, Clois fans will continue to support Clois, and Clana fans will continue to support Clana..... until the very last episode of the series.
What I really find silly are those fans who claim to feel that another group's theory is "crazy", and yet will spend so much energy trying to refute or take pot shots at that very theory.

Ya, all this talk of Chloe and Chloeis really, really bugs. Not everyone cares about this 'theory', I wish some people would realize this before bringing it up in every.single.blog, whether or not it has anything to do with the topic. And before someone accuses me me of being a biased Lois fan, fyi, I'm not fond of any of the women characters on the show.
I dont think a Justice League spin off will pan out. I'm looking forward to the Justice episode but a spin off, not so sure.

Heroes is it's own nitch, a JL show wouldn't be competition unless in the same time slot.
Heroes is more "learning how to use/control powers and meeting each other" type of show
while a JL series would be a "already trying to save people" show.
As long as you maintain the whole role model angle that makes comics appealing and not a teen romance drama that forgets superheroes are role models to children and adults aspect (which is what no Chlois would do btw) then a JL show would do just fine.
Hmmm, now that is a question: how many Heroes fans would Chlois? Could you imagine having Heroes Ratings/numbers?
Posted by: ChibiHoshi | December 13, 2006 3:29 PM
Hmmm, a lot of people here pompously speaking on behalf of everyone who watches Smallville, I see. Rather a distirbing trend, and delusional. I hope they realize that any bystander who reads this scoffs at their blatant generalizations.
I personally would love to see Clark and Lana getting another chance. That's the couple I fell in love with in the show and that's the one I'd like to see some justice being done to. But if not them, then the inevitable I guess, which is Clark and Lois.
I wouldn't mind seeing a JL spin off, but I'm not awaiting it or anything. I dont think it'll happen personally. And yes, Claire, I agree, as long as Lois does not go. And this is not because I hate the character, I actually like her. Which is why I think her story needs to be shown ending along with the other iconic characters of Clark, Lex and Lana at the end of the show. She belongs in the future Supes verse, not with the JL. Chloe can go though, she'd be the best option IMO. She can be like an oracle type character.

I'll be ok for a spin off...later on. BUT, in addition to what an earlier poster said...DON'T take time (or money/budget, or anything else) away from Smallville or Supernatural.
Frankly, if TPTB would stop secretly (or not so secretly) using the budget to pimp off GA maybe we could have gotten better special effects in Smallville??? How about that???? Now I do like GA and all, but it's ironic that all the resources are used to pimp him in a SUPERMAN/CLARK KENT show, and yet we can't get a good fight scene for Clark Kent? Does something sound wrong with that?
A word to the powers....while you prepare for a new series, don't forget that you still have a successful one going...capitalize on the one you have NOW. Don't get so caught up in a new series that you forget what REALLY made you successful: SMALLVILLE.
Ohh, I havent seen Heroes, but from the sounds of it, maybe I should!
Heroes competition for Smallville??? PTB, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. NO OTHER hero show should be competition for the greatest hero of all time!

There is so a spin-off in the works or they wouldn;t have wasted all that FX cash on GA, a mere guest star. Not that I think it was justified even then but still. WHy wast time and money on something that is not a ploy for a spin-off? And please, take Lois with him. She drags down every ep she's in.
Now we want to see the Justice League but give us the long-awaited and long overdue Clark finally realizing what an awesome girl Chloe is and acting on it. It's something he should have done years ago, thereby sparing us the nasty Clark and Lana sex.
Please let Clark, Lex and Chloe, the real Lois Lane of this show, finish this series off and stop parading awful Lana around as the reason for all things. She's a waste of space just like "Lois" and needs to go.
So...Justice Leage, Clark and Chloe, the real Lois, and let Clark practice flying! It's way past time for that as well.

Jesus...stop with that Losi will stay forver!!!! stop trying to make her in other perosn....that kind of thing only happens in a soap opera....... or in a Chloiser mind....geeezz.
Yeah I will watch a JLA show...awesome I liove Bart I want bart bart is Fun and Justin is hot.....hell BRING IT ON!!!!
Yes agree he won't take Lois anywhere Lois belongs to Clark.
Clois rules!!!

I ADORE the Justice League.... haha... Would love to see that... and exscuse me... you forgot Batty!!!

Just one thing, a new GA show had better not TAKE TIME AND MONEY AWAY from Supernatural. It's downright the best show on this channel right now and if the CW would market it properly - with Smallville or this GA-show, it would be great for everyone. I know "God-Gave-With-Both-Hands" with Justin Hartley, but he showered Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki with talent, sex appeal and Kripke.
Oh and did I mention the talent?

A JLA spin-off would be cool, but like another poster said, I think it's a little too late...
"Heroes" is SO well-done and would be HEAVY competition.
If the folks with Smallville complain about all the budgetary problems NOW, I can't imagine how much there would be about a show with MULTIPLE superheros EVERY week :)
I would also like to see some romantic Clark/Chloe by the end of this season. It's been a long time coming and if they don't capitalize on all the foreshadowing they've set up from Season One on, they're seriously missing out on some good stuff and a chance to claim a victory on continuity :)
I'm also really pumped up about Level 33.1 (talk about a triumph for continuity...that's been around since "Jitters"...a series arc? awesome.), the rise of Lex Luthor (which is REALLY starting to be shown), and the hopes that the story will get back to the Clark/Chloe/Lex/Lana dynamic of past seasons because it's such an interesting concept that they all started out as friends and have now chosen opposite sides.
I'm such a sucker for good guys vs. bad guys...
Looking forward to some interesting episodes to come and the hope for a great second half of Season Six!

They need a Green Arrow spinoff next year or just make him a regular on Smallville. Bring Dr. Fine and Pete back when you're at it too. Hell have Clark turn back time by flying around the world and just let Lana die so Jonathan doesn't die :).

A JL series would be interesting, the more comic stories the merrier. It is nice to see childhood heroes and role models presented to entertain me and make it easy to introduce the next generation to them.
As for the poll, Smallville is about Clark and Lex so I don't know why such emphasis on the Justice League.
Posted by: ChibiHoshi | December 12, 2006 4:44 PM
I'm for a GA-spin off, not a whole heap of established heroes in one show. I think inevitably some characters will get short-changed and pigeon-holed and long-term comic fans of these characters would be sincerely angry at what happens to them.
Keep the focus on Green Arrow - and sorry Claire - but taking Temp Lois with him is probably the best thing to ensure some longevity to the series. At the very least, it would actually air instead of being relegated to downloading only. Those two have chemistry, moreso than Temp Lois and Clark.
Besides which, Temp Lois plays better as someone with more to do than almost get creamed by barn doors and pretend to be a journalist. She'd actually get to kick some bad-guy ass as Black Canary and honestly, that would be something worth tuning in for - there are no Superhero females around like that. ED could pull that off. And she'd get to sink her teeth into a character that isn't a running joke in a fandom.

Justice League and Chlark totally!!
But why wasn't "Erica LEAVING" a choice? I'd choose that anyday =b
Posted by: chuchubeans | December 12, 2006 3:50 PM
I'd love a spin-off, and it would be even better if Lois went with him, as long as she was the Black Canary. I vote Clark and Chloe hooking up.
Posted by: Lynette | December 12, 2006 3:36 PM
A Justice League series? Oh yeah! But take Erica with...as the BLACK CANARY!
Posted by: abram | December 12, 2006 3:07 PM
I could see a JLA spin-off, but HEROES has really raised the bar... a LOT! And if they wanted to be competetive they would have to have a much larger budget than they do now, because the special effects it would require would be rather expensive.
As for the rest of Season 6 - Definitely bring on the JLA, and definitely hook up Clark (which will happen by the season finale I'm sure). The second have will be all about the 33.1, Lex/Lionel, and Chlark. Finally, we will be focusing on what has made this show so successful, and that's Clark/Lana/Lex/Chloe. Everything else is a distraction from the main storyline.

Whereever Justin Hartley goes, Erica Durance needs to follow. Those two have smokin' chemistry and deserve their own show to show it off.
Let Smallville and it's core four finish off their story; then show the TeenTitans (Erica as Black Canary? Supergirl?) directly afterwards.
Perfection.

I think a spin off is in the works...or at least being talked about seriously...
As for taking or not taking Lois..come on...we know that won't happen...I don't recall her being in the "Green Arrow mythology"...
They should definitely use Justin Hartley of course...I would only watch a GA spin off when Smallville is done for good...only then.

As long as he DOES take Lois with him!
Erica Durance as Black Canary - it would be AWESOME. AWESOME.
