Gilmore Girls: Gawker on The Gilmores
Earlier this week, one of our favorite media blogs, Gawker, implied The New York Times Gilmore farewell was a bit over-the-top. Hey! There's no such thing -- not when we're still coming to terms with the loss of our Gilmores. Sniff.
But we forgive them, because their celebrity-watching Gawker Stalker recently reported a Lauren Graham spotting in NYC (at Broadway and Bleeker Street, Manhattanites -- anyone see her?)! Awesome! How great would it be to run into Lauren on the street? Well, she might not think it's great, because we'd probably call her Lorelai and beg her for one last caffeine-infused pop culture diatribe and ask her how Luke's doing. Sigh. We're going through withdrawal already...

i was upset to see the WB go to the CW... the show lineup changed and then they cancel the only two shows left on the channel that i used to love... so now not only will i be saying goodbye to the shows i love but i will be saying goodbye to a channel that i used to love... i wont be watched anymore... the new shows all look disappointing and like so many other shows that are already being done...

I agree with so many of the viewers--THE CW Channel is terrible! Ever since they took over, my favorite shows have been taken off the air! I am addicted to Gilmore Girls and watch the reruns daily, twice on Tuesday! (reruns on ABC, not on CW!) I know good things come to an end, eventually, but the CW tried to wrap up everything in one last show! They think we didn't notice! The show deserved better and more! Please don't let it end!

Like many of the comments before me, the only shows I watch with CW is Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, and what a disappointment that CW is cancelling both in the same season. I must say, the last episode to Gilmore Girls was disappointing, especially when Rory rejected Logan's proposal...

I am really going to miss the gilmore girls i think its bull crap that the "new" cw is taking it off the air! I'm sick of this channel now and i will not watch it anymore. I know that the cw will lose lots and lots of dedicated viewers like me. And i won't be the only one who mad about this! Something to think about huh? Hopefully they rethink this somehow!

Ending the Gilmore Girls is the worst thing Channel 11 or should I say the CW has ever done this show could have gone on for an 8th season at least showing luke and loreli married and expecting

A colleague of mine some days ago, joked about Lauren walking alone down public streets. As I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan, and a cop, he was just teasing me chatting with a girlfriend on the cell phone, about the final episode, the interviews, and the show ending. He said it was not safe for Lauren walking like everyone does, for some more weeks, 'cause of psycho fans (like his wife as well). I hope she was not really walking alone and, generally speaking, we are not mental but very disappointed.
