why would they get rid of lois she is the one in the comic books not lana....lana is just a random character

ok first smallville needs more action. clark needs to show off more of dose powers of his. because this is superman not a soproapra they neeed that clark finaly knows whats its desteny and start doing wnat superman does not just saving the little town he lifes from.

Chloe deserve to be the new icon; I mean this is the new age, and stop all the useless saying bout Lois & Clark being soul mates. Chloe deserve the right place in Clark's heart, & so does Clark's. In the movie Superman Return Lois still does not recognize Clark as Superman. Give me a break what's the sense in that! How could u shared some intimate moment & also ad a baby by that person & still not recognize who he really his? I guess all she prefers is the fantasy world & not the reality. That's why Chloe should be the new Iconic Lois Lane; the one working as one the best Report of DP along-side of Clark. I am a huge fan of smallville, but now I am getting really impatient for them to introduce a Bruce Wayne/Batman character on the show. Clark Kent/Superman has no place in the DC universe with out the Batman. Why aren't they introducing the Bat along as well as Flash, Green Arrow, Cyborg, and Martian Manhunter?

I am an intense fan of Smallville. We constantly discuss this program in my community! My friends and I all agree that somehow they must introduce the Green Lantern. The introduction of the Green Lantern would produce hugh ratings for the show.

Lana doesn't die. Her character is in the Superman movies. She just needed to get away from Lex. As far as Chloe, she has an ability. She takes on the illness (in this case death) of someone and her body heals itself. Why do either one of them have to be in the coffin? What about Lyonel? He looked like he might be dead too.

okay.. .so after reading people comments I am shocked to see how mean some of you can be! I personally dont like Lana's character (she is way to selfish and gets on my nerves) I have nothing against Kristen. BUT I am not going to go around saying that I hope Lana is going to be the one to die. So I dont understand why people would say something like that about Lois. Lois Lane and Clark Kent are meant to be. I mean they have been a famous couple for 70 years!!! And, the directors of Smallville would not have casted Erica if she wasnt a going to act as a good Lois Lane.

So I dont understand why all of you have a need to bash other characters/actors. If you really think they are so bad I would like to see you go and act as one of the character that has been SO important to the history of superman!

Lana shouldn't die it's not right, let it just be that she faked her death so that the luthers could leave her and Clark alone. Chloe gave her life to Louis so that's it for her. Please have Kristin Kreuk stay in Smallville shes awsome as Lana. Everyone hates it when the orginal people are replaced because theres no one better then the first person that played the part. for lana to die now this far in the show would make the show plumet in my opinion because she been such a huge part andd her and clark need to tie the knot once and for all...chloe is the metorite one who can save herself somehow so if they can figure that one out...instant success!

hate to see AM leave the show (assuming she does) but it makes a LOT of sense to lose her character since chloe is really not a part of the DC comics family. if AM is no longer a member of the cast, i really hope she lands a few choice gigs so that we can see her again either on TV or the BIG screen. she's an excellent actor and her talent is wasted on this show. (it started to waste a long time ago.) if AM goes, jimmy olsen should not return. can't stand aaron ashmore; not sure why but he gets on my nerves.

as for lana, the producers and the writers really need to get creative (as in adding more dimension) with this character. otherwise, they need to lose lana too. hell, if they lose the current lois lane (ED) i'm fine with that. BRING ON SUPER GIRL!!! SV needs new blood especially since MR is leaving at the end of S7.

Well just thing of it this way, if they got rid of all the female cast members, it'd be so freaking boring! i mean we all know that clark is gonna end up being superman in love with lois, this is just chipping away the time on lana. damn i hope they dont kill lana off yet

I would like to hear what's going on with this Clark fella too. You know since he's supposedly what the show is about. Seriously, the lack of Clark spoilers are starting to get to me. Sure Kara has something to do with Clark since they are cousins but I want something solid about what Clark will be doing in the premiere. I really don't want Kara to be the one that gets rid of Bizarro. That would suck soo bad.

And how the hell is Chloe in the morgue. I guess Lois and Chloe got sent to the hospital but Chloe was pronounce dead and they took her to the morgue and that's where she will wake up before having they do an autopsy. I think they might end up taking some shit from off a Heroes which would be hella weak.

Lana!, Chloe!, Kara!, Lois!...Bah, I'm sick to death of all of them. Could this show get back to what it was originally sold as, the story of a young Clark Kent and how he becomes Superman, and his friendship with Lex Luthor that goes bad and ends with them being lifelong enemies?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the female cast members, but all this hang wringing, and angsting, and pimping of these ladies just gets really tired after a while, especially when the 2 men that should be front and center on this show seem to be getting the shaft. All that Clark and Lex fighting over Lana last season? That was just a total bore, and a total waste of such iconic characters (not to mention 2 actors who have worked their butts off, Welling and Rosenbaum).

And now, I have no doubt that this Kara character is going to be front and center, blonde and buxom, dominating nearly every episode she appears in, while Clark stands to the side holding her hnad, or worrying about her, or being sniped at by her, or looking incompetent and impotent while she's off flying. Last year it was GreenArrowVille, this year its KaraVille. Good God!

I just want to know what happened to Smallville, and a friendship that turned into a legendary rivalry.

If Chloe is not going to be on Smallville anymore, than I am not watching anymore. I am big fan of Smallville since the beginning.
