Sean Gunn Moves to October Road
One of the things we loved about quirky Kirk on Gilmore Girls was his jack-of-all-trades approach to employment. At various points he delivered flowers, swans, firewood, mail and a really big pizza; he installed DSL, security alarms and red light cameras; he played Jesus, a woman of questionable virtue, a Tevye from Fiddler on the Roof; he waited tables, worked the check-out line, started a rival diner, attempted to sell real estate, came up with humorous t-shirts, parachuted… and that just scratches the surface.
Now Sean Gunn, the actor behind Kirk, will be able to tap into some of Kirk’s restaurant experience with his new gig: fry cook. No, Sean hasn’t given up acting; he’s taking a part in the love-it-or-hate-it ABC show October Road, playing a cook who works at the bar where one of the main ladies also works. According to TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello, Sean will be pining for said lady when he’s not busy cooking up a new batch of French fries.
Good luck with the new gig, Sean!
