Is it sad that I think one of the geeks is hot? Jesse's so cute. -- Jenn
It is not sad… it is what the show is all about! Not only was Jesse’s makeover great, Jesse is a great guy. In my opinion, any girl would be lucky to go out with these guys. They are smart, funny and really caring.
I just wanted to let you know that, although I find your show entertaining, I hate the fact that you portray an idea that is so far from the truth. There are plenty of girls, at least in New York, who are both beautiful and smart.
To portray an idea that people are either smart or pretty is unjust and insulting. There is too much media as it is that promotes the wrong stereotypes, so please stop. I am one of those girls; it might sound conceited but it's true - just let me know if you need proof. Maybe the next twist for your show could be to have one of the girls who is smart and beautiful; I don't think I could continue to watch the show otherwise. -- Elena
I hear this comment a lot. We are in no way saying that if you are pretty, you can’t be smart. In fact, this season we showed just how many cities we have to visit to cast the show. I am sure you are beautiful and smart, Jenn. I don’t think that is conceited at all. I like your confidence. For that reason, you would not be on the show. You don’t need this social experiment. The girls and guys on the show do need to expand their horizons and that is why we chose them. Remember, the show is called “Beauty and the Geek” not “Everyone is Either a Beauty or a Geek.”
