Jason C. got to speak with several of the eliminees from cycle 10 of America's Next Top Model at the Seventeen Magazine party. For the most part, it seems like the right girl won, however many of them had been rooting for Anya.
We had a great time at the Seventeen Magazine party for America's Next Top Model. Jason C. was able to sit down with Whitney after her big win.
Well, we've got a winner and she's our first plus-sized full- figured juicy booty top model - Whitney!

We got to watch the final episode (along with the Seventeen Magazine cover unveiling) with the three final contestants sitting right in front of us! Hearing and seeing their reactions to what was being played on screen was priceless.
The show started out with Anya, Fatima and Whitney in Rome and their next challenge was to shoot a commercial and print ad for Cover Girl. Anya's nerves started getting the best of her and she broke down while getting her makeup done. We got the scoop (although it seemed pretty obvious from the editing) that she was also battling a cold on top of it all. All three of the girls seemed to struggle with their lines (Anya practically put her hands in front of her eyes when her commercial was being shown at the screening) but Fatima's best take came out the worst. The Cover Girl print ad was much stronger for Fatima and Paulina even commented that Whitney's ad showed brilliance for the first time. When it came to critiquing Anya's photo, Paulina wasn't as impressed. She scoffed and said Anya looked "stupid" in the photo - like she was thinking about fields and pastures. We were a bit offended by this remark and judging by the look on Whitney's face, she didn't approve of it either.

Tonight is the big finale for cycle 10 of America's Next Top Model and we'll be on the red carpet for the Seventeen Magazine party to speak with the contestants later tonight. We caught up with a group of the past winners and then the three finalists who are still in the running to becoming America's Next Top Model.

Last week we said goodbye to Dominique but she made it back to our studio to help Jason C. with our Top Model recap. This should get you up to speed before tonight's big finale for cycle 10.
Cycle 8's Sarah Vonderhaar joins Mia and I again for our latest Top Model podcast, "Ready for My Close-Up!" We discuss Dominique's downfall, the judges' mixed messages, Paulina's breathtaking beauty, and the difficult paparazzi shoot.
We discuss the photography challenge, the lack of one-on-one time with Tyra, and why it might be better to NOT win the whole competition. Oh, and of course, we speculate how the finale will go down. Dominique headed back to America last night on Top Model, and it wasn't a huge surprise. We realized that, especially this week, she's really grown on us. Yeah, she had delusions of grandeur and bursts of excessive self-confidence, but we're inclined to think she needed them after enduring the harshness of panel. We agree that she wasn't the best model there, but did they have to chuckle about her manliness week after week? If it was that bad, why not cut her six episodes ago? The girl's features aren't going to morph into Anya's overnight.
Let's backtrack. For the challenge, the models got behind the camera and shot Paulina, who, by the way, needs to start co-hosting this show (at least). She's stunning, her critiques are honest but not cruel, and she doesn't mock accents (ahem, Tyra!).
Dominique was no stranger to controversy during her stay in the Top Model house, but in her chat with Jason C., she's easygoing and lighthearted. The much-talked-about contestant gives her take on her panel outfits, her new longer locks, and that alarm clock battle with Claire. We love how she laughs off the drama!
Last week on Top Model, the competitors played gladiator and posed for Tyra, and Katarzyna was sent home. She shares her side of the story with Jason C., describing Rome's beauty, her reaction when she found out Tyra was photographing the girls, and who she's pulling for to win it all now!
Last night's elimination was pretty anticlimactic for Mia and I -- we called it last week. What about you -- were you surprised?
In this week's Top Model podcast, we discuss Kat's "no personality" curse, ponder possible alternate hosts (Paulina? Janice?), and wonder if the extra Tyra/Jay Manuel screentime this week is a direct response to the rumors that they don't get along (we think it is!). We also respond to an iTunes commenter and look ahead to Mia's visit to NYC's Top Model finale party.

Katarzyna got the boot on Top Model this week, and she dishes to Jason C. about how she dealt with Paulina's harsh comments, who she's rooting for in the top four, and which type of modeling she hopes to do in the future. Check out Katarzyna's interview!
Top Model is back tonight with a new episode at 8/7c, and to get ready, Jason C. and last week's eliminee Lauren recap last week's episode! Relive those cringeworthy Cover Girl commercials, the ups and downs of the Rome house, and some of the panel's harsher comments.
She took some of the season's best photos, but Lauren struggled with her walk and her attitude. The offbeat model with the punk rock style sat down with Jason C. to talk about her bleep-filled fight with Fatima, why she loved that meat shoot, and the kind of modeling she wants to do now!
From the new Tyramails to the disastrous Cover Girl spots, there's lots to discuss this week...
...and Mia and I are ready for it! In our latest Top Model podcast for "Viva Italia," we wonder what it would take to get Tyra to pronounce Kat's name correctly, discuss Dominique's finer moments and Fatima's lovely commercial, and guess the final three (total speculation -- we're not spoiled!). We also talk about Lauren's exit and question whether or not Whitney's peaked.

Ciao, Lauren! She's stunning in photographs, but her walk didn't improve much and her Cover Girl commercial was pretty painful -- so she's gone.
Not a big surprise there. Will you miss Lauren, or do you think it was her time to go?
So the Top Models arrived in Rome this week, and immediately Fatima caused drama by getting sick. Only Anya took pity on her, even bringing her food; the rest of the girls saw it as an opportunity to bash. What do you think -- was Fatima really sick, or just looking for attention?
We love that the models are in Rome! While Milan's more of a fashion capital, Rome has a classic beauty and style all its own, and so many lovely and instantly recognizable landmarks -- eye candy for those of us at home. Those lucky models! Not only do they have a sweet apartment there, but they get to Segway their way through the city on a tour ending at the Spanish Steps. We're jealous -- those Segways look like fun (well, and kind of dangerous for some of the girls!).
Next, the girls headed to a challenge where they dressed to embody Italian style. Surprise, surprise -- Anya won yet again! How many weeks is that in a row now? At least this time nudity wasn't involved -- instead, she won a gorgeous dress. Whitney wasn't pleased... but then, what exactly IS Whitney happy about these days? We used to love her, but she wastes a lot of energy on petty jealousy lately.
Then it was time for Cover Girl commercials... in Italian.
Stacy Ann's ouster last night on Top Model was surprising enough, but plenty of other parts of this episode shocked us even more...
...like the fact that Katarzyna got actual screentime! Jay (Manuel) made an appearance at panel! Tyra apparently has no idea that one of her competitors might be stuck on US soil! Anya did a nude photo shoot -- oh, wait. That's not surprising anymore -- it's practically par for the course.
Mia and I are back with the latest Top Model podcast! This week, we're debating the real story behind Fatima's document debacle, wondering why Whitney got stuck in such a hideous dress at the party, and sharing our general love for the photo shoot and upcoming trip to Rome (and the inevitable Cover Girl commercial butchering that'll ensue). Listen to the podcast and subscribe to us on iTunes!
Sweet stunner Stacy Ann caught our attention from the start this cycle with her impromptu lap dance in front of panel -- and she kept us interested by rocking a brave short 'do and staying positive in the face of some dramatic housemates. But that wasn't enough this week -- in spite of Fatima's absence at the photo shoot, Stacy Ann was sent home! In this chat with Jason C., she talks about her emotional exit and tells us about her future plans (hint: she'll need to keep her passport close by)!
We're down to just seven competitors fighting to become the next Top Model, and Cycle 10 is offering some serious contenders. Will Whitney become the first plus-size ANTM winner? Will Katarzyna triumph in spite of her lack of airtime? Will Lauren prove that she can overcome her awkward walk? Vote for who you think will win it all, and tell us more in the comments!
We didn't realize how much we missed Marvita and Amis until we watched this recap show. They're completely wacky, and we'd probably tear our hair out if we had to LIVE with them, but they make for some great TV.
Seriously, this is one strange crop of models -- the recap show revealed some of their oddest behavior yet.
Some highlights of the recap show:
*Marvita. Armed with a pink guitar, she managed to torment half the house -- and if that wasn't bad enough, she strutted around naked, much to the annoyance of her roommates (why does someone do that every season?). But she made up for it with her strong massages, and frank commentary.
