OK, folks, we don't know quite what to make of this: Hilarie Burton of One Tree Hill posted a video on her Southern Gothic Productions website, and while she didn't say she was leaving the show... she sure seemed sad about something!

Now, we're going to take a deep breath here and say we have no idea what's going on. We're looking for confirmation from Hilarie, the publicists, the key grip, anyone... and we'll get back to you as soon as we know. Hilarie Burton celebrates her 26th birthday today! With her big day so close to the Independence Day holiday, it’s no wonder that the 4th is her all-around favorite day. She's said: “My birthday is July 1st and my best friend's birthday is July 5th, so it's always been a favorite holiday. It's all about having a cooler full of sodas, hot dogs, and just hanging out and shooting off firecrackers, being low-key, watching the fireworks. There's something about a holiday that isn't all about how much money you spend." We hope Hilarie turns the first week of July into a week full of celebrations!

Hilarie was born in Sterling Park, Virginia. She has three younger brothers, Billy, Johnny and Conrad (she nicknamed them “Billy Awesome,” “Johnny Kickass” and “C-Rock”). She decided early that she wanted to be an actress, so she packed her bags and headed to NYC where she quickly landed an unbelievable gig as an MTV VJ. Interestingly, Hil’s folks wouldn’t allow her to watch the racy channel when she was growing up. Talk about the ultimate rebellion!

It wasn’t long before the folks at Dawson’s Creek spotted her for a guest-starring role on the popular TV show and that role parlayed into her Peyton Sawyer role in One Tree Hill. Let's take a trip down memory lane to remember some of our favorite Peyton moments...

Eonline reports that Gossip Girl received a whopping 14 Teen Choice nominations, including Best Drama, Best Breakout Show, and Choice TV Actor/Actress.

It's true that GG is everywhere on the list of nominations. All three female leads (Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and Taylor Momsen) are up for Best Breakout Female Star, and we were especially excited to see Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass nominated for Choice TV Villain along with Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum. But One Tree Hill also earned its fair share of nominations, including Choice TV Drama, Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush for Choice TV Actress and Chad Michael Murray for Choice TV Actor. Our complaint: where are James Lafferty and Bethany Joy Galeotti? They deserve some noms, too!

Other shows represented include America's Next Top Model (Cycle 10 winner Whitney is up for Choice TV Female Reality Star, Tyra is up for Choice TV Personality, and the show itself is in the running for Choice TV: Reality Beauty and Makeover), Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (for Reality Music Competition), and Smallville (Choice TV Show Action/Adventure, Choice TV Actor/Actress Action/Adventure for Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk). Even Beauty and The Geek made the list with a nomination for Choice TV: Reality Beauty & Makeover.

Notably absent from the list: Supernatural and Reaper. And what about Everybody Hates Chris, Aliens in America, Girlfriends, and The Game? We think these shows were seriously overlooked -- do you agree?

We don't know about you, but we're getting sick of winter. To pass the time until spring finally comes, we've decided to turn up the heat – by looking at the CW hotties who make us warm all over. But no matter how many times we hash it out in the office, we can't decide: Who's the hunkiest guy on the network? What about the most gorgeous girl? How could we possibly choose?

Short answer: We won't. You will! We've got a selection of the most delectable men and women from all of your favorite scripted shows on The CW. We're pitting them against each other – and you get to vote for the one who makes your pulse race or your temperature spike. How’s that for a way to beat the winter blues?

Take a look at the polls below. You vote, and the winners of each matchup will advance to the next round. By the end of the month, you’ll have decided who are the most stunning man and woman on the CW network. May the hottest two win!

Hilarie Burton is fun, down-to-earth, and a blast to interview. Who else could inspire an enormous tattoo, hope for ham as a Christmas wish, or re-wear her junior year prom dress on the red carpet?

We had a great time chatting with Hilarie in Wilmington last month, and we're excited to report that she'll be stopping by again next week to chat about the One Tree Hill fifth season premiere (Tuesday, January 8 at 8/7c). Hilarie Burton turned the big 2-5 on July 1! She's one of our favorites -- she brings the drama and angst on One Tree Hill, she's always down-to-earth in interviews, and, well, she's simply adorable. We covet her blond curls. We're shallow like that, okay?

But seriously, we bet she's excited to play someone closer to her age when OTH returns in January! It'll be cool to see how she plays Peyton as a twentysomething.

Hilarie Burton recently dished to the NY Daily News about how she wants to stop playing the victim (which is practically the definition of Peyton lately, between dying parents and psycho stalkers). She said: ""I feel like aggression needs to be a mood that we see from Peyton Sawyer." Hmmm... what about that episode where Peyton fought back after Derek's attack? Or the catfight she had with Brooke? We've seen Peyton's tougher side a few times. But we get what she's saying -- Peyton usually ends up getting dumped on, not getting aggressive.

Hilarie goes on to say how excited she is to see the show change next season: “The period in your life between graduating high school and graduating college is probably when you change the most. We can all come back, and maybe some of us will still be really tight and others of us will be totally different people. I’m excited to see which is which.”

Us, too!
