Just Memories
It broke my heart seeing Sandra's story or our newscast tonight. To think of how those horses must have suffered is too much for me.
Often the news and our daily duties as reporters involve tragedy. It's always tough. And for me it's never gotten easier. Those stories you take home with you and can't get out of your head. Sometimes for days and weeks and longer.
The hardest part is whatever hurt you feel doing your job always pales in comparison to the people who are living the tragedy, not just reporting it.
