Yes, that's with a capital "L".

I had what's called a "Beat Day" today. When my Assistant News Director offered it to me at our afternoon meeting, I thought he asked me if I would like a "Beat Down" today. I answered, "No", then quickly changed my mind when it sunk in. It wasn't pretty. I think I was actually begging to get my "Beat Day" back.

ANYWAY, the moral of the story is I didn't turn a piece for our newscast tonight, instead focused on researching future stories and working to set them up.

It was a most productive day, (thank you, Rob) and you'll get to see the results soon hopefully, but that doesn't mean I don't still need your help. (Read yesterday's blog)
