Yes it is Friday, but it is my Wednesday
Everyone is in a good mood because it is Friday. I am a weekend producer, therefore it is not my Friday, It is my Wednesday. I have to be be happy for different reasons.

5. My Double Monitor & New Computer!
This week the news director and tech director gave me a SECOND MONITOR! Why is this exciting? Because I need MULTIPLE windows up at all times. I need to watch video, write stories, send tweets (FOLLOW the33news :) ) , read press releases, follow breaking news, and read AP alerts all from ONE COMPUTER! It is stressful. But at least now I have more space to do it. Our main producer Mark also got double monitors. He is featured in the picture.
4. The AC is back ON
It went down earlier this week.
The monster you see above is what was providing air. It made a loud annoying hollowing sound. I'm glad it is gone.
3. Becky's Forecast!
Clear & Sunny! And that means more time outside. Hello Lewisville Lake!
2. Presidential Appetite
Mr. Obama seems to have similar cravings as our news room (see my previous blog) I have never been to Five Guys Burgers in D.C. But our assistant news director and news director both worked in D.C. before coming to Dallas. Assistant News Director Rob says "one of the better burgers I've ever had." AND BEHOLD: there are 2 Five Guys in North Texas! One in the Galleria and one in Southlake Towne Square. And yes, we are planning a lunch trip soon.
