Peddling Away Votes
Gov. Rick Perry may have lost some votes today. He vetoed the so called safe passing bill. The legislation had wide support from the house and senate not to mention it was wildly popular with all those active people who are tired of getting buzzed by cars and trucks. The bill would have forced drivers to give cyclist, runners and stranded motorist three-feet of space when passing. The law was adopted by a dozen other states. Prediction; Kay Bailey campaigns at this years Hotter'N Hell.
