VERY severe weather..

I don't think VERY severe is an actual weather term, but it's accurate. Wow, we went out on a weather story tonight and found one. Actually, it found us. We were in Trophy Club when tonight's nasty weather blew through. Shingles were flying, trees were uprooted and signs were blown out. The guy a the Exxon station says the sign cost him ten thousand dollars. The Taco Bell sign didn't fare any better. Power was out in many places along 114 in Trophy Club. Sometimes when there is a threat of severe weather, it never materializes. Still, we photogphers and reporters try to track them down and often come up empty. It's as if mother nature is dodging us. Not tonight. Tonight, we didn't find mother nature, she found us.
