Celiac disease, so misunderstood

How many of you have actully heard of celiac disease? Okay, some of you. But many have never heard about it, and if they have, they didn't know about the symptoms. That would include Patti Crites who says she was misdiagnosed for four years. That's four years of terrible stomach issues. I think you know the kind I'm talking about. If not, here you go: Patti knew every restroom stop on the tollway to and from work. That was necessary until her doctor diagnosed her with celiac disease. It's caused by gluten, which is bread, wheat, actually, almost everything you can think of. Patti was told to simply go on a gluten free diet, which she did, and amazingly within two weeks she was cured. Actually, cured is not accurate. There is no cure, but Patti now has a misunderstood and underdiagnosed celiac disease under control.
