Fierce flying

The McKinney airplane that went down off the Florida Coast is a tragic story. The radar shows the aircraft traveled into sever weather before it disappeared from view. Although the cause of the accident has yet to be determined the weather may have contributed in some way. I got the chance to talk with experienced pilot about the flying in such conditions. See the green on the radar, that he says looks like an 8 out of 10. He says not just lighting and rain but ice at that altitude could have added to the dangers for the pilot and his passengers.
