Home is where the heart is

Airman Colton Read had his legs amputated after a botched gallbladder operation. He's 20 years old and went to Sam Houston High School in Arlington. He's a Texas through and through. His family lives here, he wants to return but he's still in the ICU and is facing eight weeks of rehab. His entire family is in California's UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Today, the city of Fort Worth started a Colton Read Benefit Fund. Employers have donated air and hotel miles to family members. Colton's grandmother says north Texas has come through in a way that the only way they can return the favor is to pay it forward. I don't think it's needed. I'm guessing the good deeds didn't come with strings attatched.
