Massive growth potential

barry blog.JPGThis is a blog, so I'll make a long story short. No pun intended on a very serious issue. Many kids out there simply don't have the hormone that allows them to grow. It's a pituitary gland thing. The hormone can now be manufactured, allowing more kids to have growth therapy and grow to their ideal height. I met a 16 year old kid who was 4-7 when he started and is now 5-4 and will likely be six feet tall, just like his dad. He was kidded a lot when he was short and that bugged him, but now he's just three inches shorter than his younger brother. Thanks to modern medicine, things are looking up, in a good way, for short kids.
