Simple Tips to Save Money on Your AC Bill

If you watched the news tonight, then you saw that AC companies are scrambling to meet a "hot demand". Many companies are working round-the-clock, answering calls for AC maintenance. Well, there's no doubt that sometimes you have to call an expert, but the experts assure me there are things all of us can do at home to increase efficiency and save money during this hot summer.

1. Wash the coils -- a hose will do and go to it.

2. Change the filter -- more often if you have pets in the house.

3. Improve ventilation in the attic -- temperatures there can reach 160 degrees or more.

I'm told all of this will help improve the bottom line until the temperatures cool off.
