Take a pill! For sun protection?

I was born and raised in California. I've lived in Arizona, New Mexico, the US Virgin Islands and Texas. The common thread? MASSIVE SUNSHINE. I did a story today about a pill that is supposed to offer sun protection in the form of a pill. It's active ingredient is from a fern plant full of anti this free that. It's been used in Europe for 20 years and is now catching on in America. I interviewed a dermatologist who believes the pill can reduce skin cancer. I talked to a patient who takes one pill a day and swears she has fewer skin lesions. She used to go to the doctor every three months, now just yearly. It's a supplement, so the FDA has not evaluated it's claims. Protection from the hot sun in a pill? Now that's cool.
