Candy Cane Case

This issue has been ongoing for about six years now. I talked with lawyers representing both sides today. Plano ISD attorney Charles Crawford told me today that there are actually two separate sides to this lawsuit. One side deals with the districts actual printed policy toward freedom of speech and religion. This issue is actually being heard by the 5th Circuit of Appeals court in New Orleans. The other side of the lawsuit deals with individual employees actions under those policies. The second half of the lawsuit has not headed to court yet.
