The future is almost now

It's called MAG. The Magnetic Anchoring and Guidance System and when I try to explain it, think Star Treck. You know, when they wave a device over the body, it beeps, and the good doctor makes the diagnosis. MAG is like that only with a magnet. Doctors insert a tiny device via incision or orally, and once it's in the stomach the surgical tools pop out. That's on the inside. On the outside, the device is controlled by a high powered magnet. Here's the benefit: No scar or low scar which speeds recovery and reduces the chance of infection. The technology still needs work and FDA approval. Here to the future of surgery. Now beem me up.
