Where is everyone?

Seems like holiday staffing in the newsroom today. Thanksgiving or New Years. Our ND, David D. isn't in, Walt Mac isn't here. Shana, my new cubical neighbor isn't here. Just six people in the newsroom and two of them are dayside and should have been gone long ago! Wait. Dan X is leaving. Still six though, if you include myself. Ten minutes before the show and Larissa, the producer, is running down the hall. She's back and seems much calmer, something about a graphic. Jennifer, our web producer has her earbuds in and is focussing on the computer screen. Blissful, no newsroom static. I need some buds, small crew today, but noisy! Rob, our assistant ND just ran past with some copy. Show starts in two minutes, I'm up at 9:18. Gotta go. Have a good weekend.
