Dallas Dries Out
Well, we set out this afternoon in search of expected flooding, even drenched West Dallas'ites who might be preparing to evacuate their low lying homes because of the recent rain.
Police had gone door to door last night warning of high water and some residents got Reverse 911 calls as late as 2am.
Flooding and evacuations were a distinct possibility today with yet more rain in the forecast.
We didn't get it. That's okay; I'll take good news any day. Sometimes in this business a good part of your day never makes air.
