Hijacking, Still A Threat

   Terrifying moments for passengers on board a hijacked jet in Mexico. Authorities stormed the plane, and the crew emerged unharmed moments later.  I was surprised to learn, despite the increased security at airports across the globe, hijackings are still a big problem.
   In 2007 4 jets were taken over by terrorist and in 2008 Two men hijacked a plane in Sudan. In 2009 a Canadian plane carrying 159 passengers was taken over. Almost all ended without bloodshed but only thanks to the response by officials.
   Many get their training from TSA experts who help review and identify potential threats
and make recommendations.
