Mother Nature

She blew in hard and fast tonight in Cleburne. We were there about 7:30pm and it went from warm and windless to cool and severely gusty in a matter of minutes.

The rain came down so hard while we were driving that at times photographer Rudy and I had to roll down the side windows and look outside to see the roads clearly. It was so loud on our rooftop, we had to yell at each other to communicate. (Truth be told, that part was fun!)

The weather did make it difficult to do our jobs tonight, though. It wouldn't allow us to go live in Cleburne or even in Fort Worth, as we tried to make our way some place safe. Too much rain, too much lightning.
