Pop the Champagne

History was made at the CW33 today.  The station launched its first 5:30pm newscast.  It's quite an accomplishment considering most news outlets are cutting back and eliminating newscasts in this tough economy.  More big changes are coming to The 33 News.  But, today was all about the 5:30 show.  We had a little champagne and celebrated the moment today in the newsroom.   Now, it's time to get back to work.
