Spikes?

Arnold from Cumby, Texas had this comment about the wrong-way drivers on the N. Dallas Tollway.  His suggestion, disablement of the vehicle. He writes, "this could be done by using spike strips embedded in the concrete at the exit ramps."  Sound good to me, but apparently this idea has already been tossed around the NTTA boardroom. 
   Here is its response: "Roadway spikes, which many customers have suggested, are not an option because of the faster speeds that occur on a tollway compared to a parking garage or other location where cars travel slowly."  Next!
