Airport Runway Safety

I just got off the conference call with FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, he announced that serious runway incursions are down 50% for the year. According to Babbitt 2009 fiscal year which ended in Sept. had 12 serious incursions and just two involving commercial carriers, compared to 25 in fiscal year 2008, with nine involving commercial carriers.
