Darkness

An estimated eight percent of Americans are depressed, of those, fifteen percent find that therapy and drugs don't work. When that happens, they now have something else to try, it's called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. Magnetic impulses go through the skull to create low-dose electricity which doctors say helps blood flow and corrects chemical levels. The patient we talked to is convinced it works. He used to have trouble simply getting out of bed. He wasn't enjoying life. After a few sessions, he felt better and now does projects around the house.
