H1N1 Vaccine Arrives, In Dribbles

The long wait is over, for now. Dallas County Health and Human Services ordered 25,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine. Today, they got, are you sitting down? They got 700 doses. As per their plan, they'll use the doses on first responders, you know, doctors and nurses. It makes sense. If the people who will be giving the vaccine get sick, who gives the vaccine? More than 1,100 clinics and doctors are waiting for their doses. We interviewed one private sector doctor who is still waiting for his 2,500 doses. In the days ahead, you'll be hearing a lot of stories about people getting their H1N1 doses. Hopefully, between now and then, we won't hear of more H1N1 related deaths.
