Is Bevo Sedated?

yoohoo.JPGI got a nasty email from a University of Texas graduate. I didn't get the rage, but I got the point. She said she was OFFENDED! Yes, in all caps OFFENDED, because during the newscast I mentioned that BEVO looked heavily sedated. I wanted to write her back and say that's what an Aggie told me and she should get over it. But, I would never do that. Then later in the email she hit me with another all caps blast of GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! "BEVO is NEVER sedated!" OK, OK, OK, I hear you. Then she challenged me to research it and find the truth. So, Jenny Prazak, I did hunt for the truth at the great State Fair of Texas. As I walked to the livestock barns a few people said, "Oh Yeah, BEVO is sedated so he doesn't rush the fans and hurt someone." Yeah, I've heard that for years Jenny and that's what got me in trouble with you on the air so I dismissed that until I could talk with an expert. When I got to the livestock barns I talked with Trigg Moore who has raised Longhorns for 18 years, Grand Champions and Reserve Grand Champions. Surely, he would know and he did. And I quote, "HE IS NOT SEDATED," Trigg said in all caps to me."These things are so docile, gentle by nature. My daughter started showing them when she was three years old." OOOHHH, Gored by the TRUTH! JENNY PRAZAK YOU WIN. I WAS WAY WRONG AND I APOLOGIZE. I will forever correct my Longhorn friends who are also graduates who didn't know the truth. Hook 'em Horns Jenny.

So I might have gone a little overboard with the caps in my original email. Thanks for following up & clarifying. Love the humor in your response! Thanks!
