But Texas Health Plano has launched a new program called The 30 Minute Promise. The promise starts from the time you check in, until the time you see a doctor. Your actual time spent in the hospital may be longer, but you will get to see a doctor within 30 minutes. If that doesn't happen, you get a gift card that's good for a lunch. Hospital officials say they've only had to dole out a couple of gift cards. Something tells me the people who didn't receive a gift card, feel like the big winners.
