I sleep like a baby, I wake up every two hours and cry

Not really, but there is a new study that suggests teens who sleep 5 hours or less are in jeopardy of having mental issues. A sleep study in the January issue of Sleep found that teens who normally sleep fewer than 5 hours a night are 71% more likely to be depressed. 24% were more likely to have suicidal thoughts.

I'm blessed, I've never had trouble sleeping, in fact, waking up is my problem. We interviewed a sleep doctor at Children's Medical Center in Dallas who gave us some great suggestions to get your teens to sleep better.

1: Get them up and outside in the sunlight early.

2: Sleep in a dark room.

3: Go to bed and get up at the same time, seven days a week.

If those tips don't work, I've got something that will really work: Read my blog every night just before bedtime.
