The Toyota mystery deepens
The best selling car in America -- the Toyota Camry -- is no longer for sale, at least in some places. The Japanese carmaker halted sales of the Camry and 7 other models amid questions of gas pedals sticking. It is being called "sudden acceleration".
It was difficult what to make of the situation at a dealership in Irving, after the announcement was made. One man who had just test driven a new Camry said he "might not make the deal". but another woman told us "she was buying her car".
There have been a lot of cases reported about drivers being taken on terrifying rides where the car just keep speeding up. Police in Southlake want to know if this is what caused a driver to barrel through a fence and land upside down in a pond. Four people died. They were in a Toyota Avalon.
