To Haiti with love
A team of doctors and support staff went to Haiti and operated on about 300 people. Most of the victims need a limb to be amputated in order to save their life. We interviewed a support staff member who had never been in an operating or emergency room. What a shock that was for him. We had him take one of our cameras to document his experience, it's one he says he'll never forget. The images of death were everywhere and it's changed the way he looks at life.
We have it pretty good here, maybe that's why people like the person we interviewed feel compelled to help. Even in dire economic times, there is still enough good in the land of mild and honey to spread around.
