Flash Mobsters

Flash mobs have been around for years, mostly high school kids cutting loose and doing what teenagers do, act crazy. Generally, flash mobs aren't violent, but last Saturday, witnesses in Philadelphia estimate as many as 2,000 teenagers converged on a 10-block commercial strip, blocking traffic, jumping on cars, and roughing up bystanders. There were three arrests and multiple assaults. Now Police in are ready to pull the plug on such events. It's really too bad, social media's one tangible impact on the public turned over to mobsters.
