Here comes the sun

I remember growing up and getting a sunburn that actually blistered. It hurt like crazy at the time and now I'm wondering if it may do more damage down the road. Doctors now believe that sudden intermittent sun damage is actually worse than getting steady doses over time, like construction workers or farmers.

I bring this up because this is spring break week and kids from all over are heading to sunny locations and more than a few of them will return with peel the skin off sunburns. I know they're probably in Mexico or Florida or California and won't see my story on TV tonight, but I hope they log on to The33TV.com and check it out online, before they get the sunburn of a lifetime.

As for me, so far so good, and I'm hoping it stays that way.
