And down goes Texas Stadium!

I grew up seeing Texas Stadium from afar. Full disclosure: I'm a 49ers fan and haven't missed a televised game in years, which means I've seen plenty of games at Texas Stadium. When I was a kid I didn't like the Cowboys, even hated them at times but I've always had a great deal of respect for the organization and the stadium. With that said I'm sorry to see Texas Stadium go down in a heap of dust. The 49ers want to build a new stadium in Santa Clara and are trying to do the same thing to Candlestick Park. I'll be sad when Candlestick goes down but I know it's the best thing for the 49ers. I've now lived in DFW for going on eleven years and while I'm still not a Cowboys fan, I hate them anymore. Only when they play the 49ers.

One final note, for all of you who though Texas Stadium was a dump, I invite you to visit Candlestick Park.
