Former First Daughter Shares Her Humanitarian Message
She was definately much taller than I expected, Jenna Bush Hager. The younger of the "Bush twins", spoke with me on Friday, before giving a speech to about 800 people at a luncheon sponsored by the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center.
Hager was there to share a humanitarian message as the new chair of Unicef's Next Generation campaign. Hager says she wants to spread a message to raise awareness about abused and neglected children and women around the world. She wants people to know it is a problem, not just overseas, but in everyone's backyard.
I do hope her famous face will highlight this problem Last year, the DCAC helped about 2,000 abused and neglected children. There are so many and so few people seem to even be aware. I hope that having a "Bush" out front, will help us all realize the innocent are crying out for our help. Please listen!.
