Move over terrible 2's

I don't have kids but I have a soft spot in my heart for my friends who do, especially those with girls. A British study surveyed 2,000 parents and found that 14- year old girls were the hardest to parent. It can be so bad that they look at the terrible 2's as if they were the good old days.

14 is an especially rough time for girls. They're moving from middle school to high school and are under plenty of peer pressure and of course there is the hormone issue.

Experts advise making sure your daughter has access to activities such as sports, cheerleading or yoga and always make yourself available if they want to talk. Fat chance, but just in case. One other thing, 14 is only a year long, so hang in there.
