Animal Cruelty

75 animals were seized Friday from a Fannin County rental property. Four people are under arrest, facing charges of cruelty to animals.

Sadly, it's just a misdemeanor, but animal advocates say the laws are getting more teeth, police are getting better at recognizing neglect and abuse and people are increasingly reporting the crimes.
