Fort Worth Settles Taser Lawsuit
Fort Worth will pay the family of Michael Jacobs $2 million to settle a wrongful death lawsuit. The 24-year old man died after being tased by a veteran officer for 54 seconds.
The family attorney calls it one of the largest settlements the city has paid out. Brian Eberstein says it indicates the police department has idenfitied lapses in taser training for officers.
Neighbors say the money isn't nearly enough and can't make up for a lost life. Tell me what you think. In the wake of deaths, should tasers be banned?
