History books are history

New curriuclum standards coming to a Texas school near you are rewriting history, according to critics.

But supporters argue the more conservative changes bring back to "balance" a history curriculum that had become too liberal over the years.

The Texas Board of Education vote was contentious and controversial. It's also been called political and embarrassing.
