New Rules for Booster Seats
Parents in Texas will want to know that come June 1st, police will begin enforcing new booster seat laws that took effect last September.
The law requires children up to age eight and under 4'9" to use a booster seat. The fines won't be small, up to $250. Officials with DPS say the new measure will save lives.
Parents can also use a special safety vest that can be purchased online.
