Should bullying be a crime?

Tami Carmichael can't even live in her Joshua home anymore, after he 13-year old son hung himself in the barn. The 8th-grader was picked on at school for years because he was small. Carmichael says he was stripped naked and stuffed in a trash can, by bigger students.

The mother is using her anguish to push for change. She wants Texas lawmakers to adopt a tough anti-bullying law that would allow for prosecutors to target those who bully and those in charge, who ignore it.

The proposal follows a Massachusetts law that was signed yesterday by the Governor there. It is considered one of the toughest in the country and follows the suicide of a young girl who was teased at school.
