Texas Fans Can Breathe Easy
Texas fans have been on edge, wondering if the university will stay in the Big 12 or go. The Pac-10 has put out feelers to lure UT away.
But, news is developing that Texas officials will announce a deal tomorrow to stay with the Big 12 and it's 10 remaining teams. The deal comes with a reported $25 million dollar TV network deal, which helps to sweeten the pot.
It is a relief to some Texas fans who did not want to see those prized in-state rivalries dry up. It appears those will stay in place.
