The earlobe: The forgotten body part

Facelifts, nose jobs, breast implants, liposuction and then the earlobe--the forgotten body part. You don't really think about your earlobes until one splits in two--which is more common than you think. Large and heavy earrings are all the rage and the earlobes often pay the price in the form of sagging and oversized holes.

To the rescue? Earlobe rejuvenation. Doctors can stitch the lobe and if the damage is less extensive they can simply inject some filler into the area and make it stronger.

Gravity, clothing, kids and cell phones are often the cause of earrings that have been ripped out.

I don't know which body part will become the next forgotten body part. Welcome home earlobes! Long live the earlobe.
