Fort Worth City Council approves resolution to lease part of Rosemont Park
Whether it be Fort Worth or Dallas, residents will always fight to keep green space.
Fort Worth residents did just that today, but they were unable to defeat a resolution that could lead to 1.5 acres of Rosemont Park in South Fort Worth being leased to Fort Worth ISD.
The land would be used for a new elementary school and a community center. In return, the school district would lease 6.7 acres nearby to the city for an additional park.
