Snow for the ages!

Many of us didn't live here the last time it snowed like this...it was 1978 when 13.5 inches of snow fell in February.  However, we set many records with our snow yesterday and this morning: 11.2 inches fell yesterday at DFW airport: a record for Feb 11. But the snow fell from 4am Thursday until 4am Friday...a total of 12.5 inches, which is a new record for 24 hour snowfall.  This has been the 2nd snowiest February on record, and with the snow we saw in December and January, we've had a total of 15.7 inches of snow this winter season...the 2nd snowiest season EVER.  It's still winter...still time to break that record and set a new one.  Where's that GroundHog, anyway? I'm ready for spring! Wait...spring brings severe weather...I'm ready for SUMMER!
